A Different (And Still Perfect) View Of Alhambra In Granada

( FILM DIARIES )

Being one of the most stunning monuments in Spain and Andalucia, Alhambra sits golden and perfect on top of the hills in Granada. It is always breathtaking, but this visit with a reduced capacity made it very special — we had it all for ourselves.

Every corner of this magnificent palace is photogenic, and it is safe to say that there is not a single photo of it that would be bad. But having the chance of photographing this beautiful space in such conditions, well, that is a luxury we do not often have.

Granada is known for la Alhambra and Albayzin, the bright neighbourhood composed of white houses and its particular cobblestones streets. Little advice from a local myself if you go: the food is even better. If you want a proper taste, Al Sur de Granada have the best of local producers and artisans.

I hope you enjoy these images as much as I enjoyed wandering around Alhambra’s patios and rooms with my film cameras.

Alhambra is the top tourist attraction in Granada, and one of the top attractions in Andalucia. There is no doubt why — even every little detail breathes a rich history through its pores.

As usual, these were taken with my trustworthy Olympus Infinity Zoom Stylus. I also took some in my Canon 1000F, and all of them were developed in Safelight Berlin.

Summer in Granada is warm (to say the least), but the golden light it brings with it is worth the sweat.

I even lost count of the times I have been up there, but somehow I am always excited to go back.

I hope these golden images bring you warmth for the coming cold months!

SEE YOU SOON,

X

PATRICIA
